More Internet Outages

I’ve been looking forward to moving house for months, but now that it’s finally here, all I feel is dread. There are so many different things to take into consideration. I have a million ideas floating around in my head, and I am stressed. I just want moving to be easy, but it never seems to be.

My new house is absolutely beautiful. I bought it for a very affordable price, however, it does need a few renovations. Most of the electronics and technology are outdated. For example, I literally had to search up how to fix slow internet because the real estate agent confided that there would be a problem with the data while we switched providers during the move. Obviously, since I work from home and can’t exactly just take days off work whenever I want to, it’s very important that I have reliable internet. I don’t want to have to go into a cafe and sit there for hours at a time, annoying all the baristas. I just want to get into my new house and stay there.

As I’m with Foxtel, moving house as an existing customer can be pretty easy when it comes to television and cable and whatnot. It’s good to know that since it means I can watch television and whatever shows I want, whenever I want. However, it still doesn’t solve the problem of me not having internet, which is vastly more important. In the meantime, I think I’m just going to use my data and hope it doesn’t run out while I still have to work. Maybe if I talk to my provider, or to the real estate agent, they’ll have to give me some sort of refund or reimbursement since they didn’t disclose the internet issues until after I had already purchased the house. This whole home owning thing is very new to me, so I’m not sure what to do or what to expect.
